Rasheed J. Daniel is a seasoned Executive Producer, Director and Developer and those close to him notoriously call him “Sheed.” Rasheed’s ability to transform a project fr om concept to execution is his specialty. A long…long…time ago in a galaxy called New York, his meteoric rise began with his ability to shoot, direct and edit his own work for A&E and MSNBC. By the age of 22 his short video journalist career was benchmarked by his contribution to Steven Rosenbaum’s theatrically released documentary 7 Days in September which covered 9/11 and the week that followed. Rasheed then made a name for himself as a Multicamera Director & Producer of BBC’s long- running hit series What Not to Wear. In 2009 Microsoft recruited Rasheed to develop and direct branded content for their commercial clients including Procter & Gamble and Kellogg’s. He then Directed the hip hop series, Son of a Gun, for Nick Cannon at MTV. In 2010 he joined forces with Sirens to shatter ratings on seasons 3 and 4 of the mega-hit Real Housewives of New Jersey. Rasheed’s ability to develop close relationships with talent and knack for genuine storytelling partnered him with Viacom again in 2012 wh ere he supervised production on celebrity based hits, LaLa’s Full Court Life for 51 Minds and Chrissy & Mr. Jones for Eastern TV. Rasheed was then challenged to Co-Executive produce documentary films for Bossip under the label Moguldom Films. While there Rasheed focused on training young Black editors and filmmakers on how to tell pointed editorial stories on limited budgets. By the end of 2012 Rasheed teamed up with Madeline Smithberg of The Daily Show to create and direct the late night talk show, Don’t Sleep hosted by T.J. Holmes for BET. Rasheed then returned to Bravo to supervise the creation of their new ITV series, Blood Sweat and Heels starring music video trailblazer Melyssa Ford. This led to a string of showrunner credits at Lifetime Television including the sitcom reality series Kosher Soul and the real life Pitch Perfect docu-series Pitch Slapped with All3 Media. In recent years, Rasheed is most applauded for being a Vice President for Big Fish Entertainment. As the creative Executive behind multiple seasons of the Black Ink Franchise the multi-city program dominated the weekly ratings charts.
Rasheed trained as a stand-up comedian at Gotham Comedy Club under Jim Mendrinos and also studied acting at Second City Chicago, He is a proud father to Rhys and Raya and he is a Brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Stewart Cavanagh currently is the head of Unscripted and Documentary at The Cartel. He has spent 4 years as Vice President of Alternative at The Gersh Agency, 6 years at the Vice President of Alternative at Rebel Entertainment Partners and 3 years as an Alternative Agent at Innovative Artists. Attending Glasgow University in Scotland, he is very proud of his heritage, being born in Australia and growing up in Los Angeles to a Scottish father and Filipino mother.
Ronique N Chambers is the Chief Financial Officer for TeamSheed. The game was officially changed when Ronique & Rasheed chartered the TeamSheed label back in 2012, a decade later she is the official financial right hand. She is at the helm of the organization’s strategic growth, management of finance, accounting, and payroll. When Rasheed decided to open the company as a full service production house, Ronique was right by his side. Prior to joining Teamsheed, Ronique acted as a Staff Accountant for Warner Brothers in Los Angeles. Ronique is a specialist at budgeting and making it work. With over 15 years of experience in operations, finance, and business development she’s our star player. Outside of production Ronique also has a specialization in the real estate and service industries.
She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from California State University, Los Angeles and is a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Chambers began her career with RSM in their Wealth Management segment and has continued to gain traction in operations, finance, and business development, with specializations in entertainment and real estate.
Ra Kumar is our Team Agent from UTA. He specializes in television packaging and sales of non fiction series that last. Ra’s unique perspective on where Rasheed sits in the marketplace is a big part of the TeamSheed inception story. With so few full service BIPOC production company’s Ra is relentless in making sure TeamSheed takes a seat at the table. After a decade of representation Rasheed sees Ra as consigliere, friend and creative partner.
